Fellas, i've been a long time lurker here, and one thing that i have found to be true is to STAY AWAY from homer posters. They will influence your decisions on this weekends games while what you truley need is to look at the games objectively. They want their team to win the game soooo bad that they will find stats and trends from 15 years back that support the case that their favorite team will win the game.

They will reply to every post that calls them out....
They will bump their own threads....

The posters you need to look out for is someone going AGAINST their team in a given week. (Hansen bros. last week). It is that type of valuable info that makes this site the true resource it should be.

Racer: Your post holds true for more than just the "homers". Anyone reading all or most of the posts can be swayed and convinced to make all kinds of bets. The way I use this board is to follow 2 or 3 posters. Those are the only ones I will allow to convince me to place a bet. All the other posters are interesting to read, but they don't know any more than I do and I never let them sway me. Once in a while I get a worthwhile idea from these posters, but they can cost you a lot of money if you listen to everyone on the board.
